Julie Lambert

Julie Lambert

Certified Family Nurse Practitioner

Although Julie was born in Missouri, she spent many years on the east coast in New York and New Jersey. She received her RN diploma in 1993 at Our Lady of Lourdes School of Nursing in Camden, New Jersey. She went on to earn her Bachelor’s in Nursing at Stockton University in Pomona, New Jersey in 1996. She earned her Master’s in Nursing at Stockton University in 2004.

Julie has worked as a Nurse Practitioner in many settings including Primary Care, Internal Medicine, Orthopedics and Emergency Medicine. Julie has maintained board certification by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners since 2004 and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for Nursing in 1994.

Julie joined Freedom Healthcare in 2016. In her free time she enjoys hiking and golf.

Jessica Moyle

Jessica Moyle

Family Nurse Practitioner, Doctor of Nursing Practice, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse - Board Certified

Jessica Moyle grew up in Papillion, Nebraska. She and her husband were stationed in Washington D.C. in 1994 and Fort Walton Beach, Florida in 1997 and returned to Nebraska for an assignment at Offutt AFB in 2004.

She received her Associate of Science in Nursing at Gulf Coast Community College in Panama City Beach, Florida in 2001. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2010 at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in 2014 at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.

Jessica has worked as a nurse practitioner in a Level 1 trauma center and in Occupational Medicine. Jessica has maintained board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) since 2014 and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for Nursing in 2012. Jessica joined Freedom Healthcare in 2019.

Jessica resides in Papillion with her husband, Rich and their three children. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, Husker Football, running and travel.

Aaron Gitthens

Aaron Gitthens

Family Nurse Practitioner

Aaron Gitthens was born and raised around the St. Joseph, Missouri area. He attended Missouri Western State University, obtaining his BSN in Nursing.

He had over 13 years of experience as an emergency room nurse prior to becoming a family nurse practitioner. After 10 years as a RN, he returned to school and received his Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from Walden University in 2017. He is a licensed certified Nurse Practitioner and joined Freedom Healthcare in 2019.

Aaron lives in the rural community of Missouri and enjoys fishing, golfing and spending time with family in his spare time.

Stephanie Scott

Stephanie Scott

Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Certified Family Nurse Practitioner

Stephanie was born and raised around Jefferson City, Missouri, but moved to Lee’s Summit before going into the 6th grade.

She earned her BSN in Nursing from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 2010. In 2018, Stephanie received her MSN-FNP in Nursing from Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa.

Stephanie worked in the Medical Surgical Unit at St. Luke’s East for 2 years, then was in Interventional Radiology for 5 years. She has worked in primary care for 2 years and joined Freedom Healthcare in 2019.

Stephanie married her high school sweetheart. They have one amazing daughter and will soon add another little one later this year. A beagle, their furry child, rounds out their family.

After spending many years dancing competitively through middle school, high school, and college, Stephanie became a NFL Chiefs Cheerleader, GO CHIEFS! She also coached high school dance at St. Teresa’s Academy.

Yolanda Huet-Vaughn

Yolanda Huet-Vaughn

Doctor of Medicine

Yolanda Huet-Vaughn attended Rockhurst College for her Pre-Med Studies in the early 70s. She obtained her BS in Molecular Biology, Philosophy and Psychology from Vanderbilt University. In 1975, she went across town in Nashville, Tennessee to Meharry Medical College and received her Doctor of Medicine. Her internship was with Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center, Bronx, New York. She returned back to Kansas City to do her residency with Truman Medical Center East.

Dr. Huet-Vaughn always had a desire to go above and beyond to help those less fortunate. She has spent her entire career extending a hand or giving to a charitable cause over maintaining a business-driven culture. She truly loves to have a philosophical discussion about the merits and ethics of each approach, but her passion is really with each individual that she sees and providing the most comprehensive care she can. She has been an activist and had several articles published.

Dr. Yolanda Huet-Vaughn has made her home in the Greater Kansas City Area. In her spare time, Dr. Huet-Vaughn loves to travel with her family and spend time with her grandkids.

Candice Carter

Candice Carter

Certified Family Nurse Practitioner

Candice Carter is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She completed her Bachelors of Nursing degree at Nebraska Methodist College and her Masters of Science degree at Clarkson College in Omaha, Nebraska in 2011, with a graduate program focus as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is also a full time professor with Clarkson College in the Master of Science and Family Nurse Practitioner program. She has worked for Freedom Healthcare since it first opened and also works at Boys Town National Research Hospital in their inpatient and outpatient surgery center for the past two years.

She lives with her husband Brian and three daughters, Emma, Alivia, and Alexa. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, and reading when time allows.
