Chiquita Hall

Certified Family Nurse Practitioner

Chiquita was born in Virginia Beach, VA however she spent many years in the windy city of Chicago where she completed her Associate degree of Nursing in 2000. She later earned a BSN at Saint Luke’s College of Health Sciences in 2016. She attended Graceland University where she received her MSN – Family Nurse Practitioner degree in 2019 as well as being inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for Nursing.

Chiquita brings almost 20 years of diversified nursing experience including occupational health, case management, home health, medical surgical/ telemetry, liver and kidney transplant as well as pediatrics. She also worked many years as a travel nurse. She joined Freedom Healthcare in 2020.

She spent most of her adult life in Atlanta, GA and moved to the Kansas City area three years ago with her husband and two children. Chiquita enjoys exercising, crafting, game nights, entertaining and anything that involves uplifting and motivating others.

John Linder

John Linder

Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse

John Linder grew up in Minden, Nebraska. He has an extensive health care history including 25 years as a nurse in the ICU and Orthopedic Dept. He also has almost 27 years in the US Navy and Reserves.

John brings with him a variety of experiences and has also worked as a travel professional for several years. John has attended Bryan School of Nursing Lincoln in 1989, Methodist School of Health Sciences in Omaha in 2001, and South University in Savannah, Georgia in 2018.

John resides in Minden with his wife and two children. Among his interests is an appetite for travel, hunting & fishing, woodworking, music, movies, history, & good food & drink. He is excited to join our team, meet you all and see how he can help you.

Stacy K. Reyes

Stacy K. Reyes

Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C)

Stacy received her Dietetics degree from Kansas State University in 1992, Bachelor’s in Nursing from St. Luke’s College of Nursing in 1998 and her Master’s Degree in Nursing from UMKC in 2003.

Stacy has worked as a Nurse Practitioner in many settings including Primary Care, Neurosugery, House Call Medicine and Retail Health. Stacy has maintained board certification by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners since 2004.

Stacy joined Freedom Healthcare in 2019 and enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters.

Yolanda Huet-Vaughn

Yolanda Huet-Vaughn

Doctor of Medicine

Yolanda Huet-Vaughn attended Rockhurst College for her Pre-Med Studies in the early 70s. She obtained her BS in Molecular Biology, Philosophy and Psychology from Vanderbilt University. In 1975, she went across town in Nashville, Tennessee to Meharry Medical College and received her Doctor of Medicine. Her internship was with Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center, Bronx, New York. She returned back to Kansas City to do her residency with Truman Medical Center East.

Dr. Huet-Vaughn always had a desire to go above and beyond to help those less fortunate. She has spent her entire career extending a hand or giving to a charitable cause over maintaining a business-driven culture. She truly loves to have a philosophical discussion about the merits and ethics of each approach, but her passion is really with each individual that she sees and providing the most comprehensive care she can. She has been an activist and had several articles published.

Dr. Yolanda Huet-Vaughn has made her home in the Greater Kansas City Area. In her spare time, Dr. Huet-Vaughn loves to travel with her family and spend time with her grandkids.

Candice Carter

Certified Family Nurse Practitioner

Candice Carter is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She completed her Bachelors of Nursing degree at Nebraska Methodist College and her Masters of Science degree at Clarkson College in Omaha, Nebraska in 2011, with a graduate program focus as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is also a full time professor with Clarkson College in the Master of Science and Family Nurse Practitioner program. She has worked for Freedom Healthcare since it first opened and also works at Boys Town National Research Hospital in their inpatient and outpatient surgery center for the past two years.

She lives with her husband Brian and three daughters, Emma, Alivia, and Alexa. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, and reading when time allows.

Carrie Wales, MSN, APRN-NP, FNP-C

Family Nurse Practitioner

Carrie is a certified Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner who has worked in nursing since 2002, bringing her strong nursing background into caring for her patients in a holistic manner.
She spent many years of her nursing career caring for very ill neonates, children, and adolescents as a certified pediatric nurse. The experience of caring for children and their families during their most vulnerable times made her appreciate the importance of communication, continuity, and compassion in the healthcare setting.

Carrie earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2002 at the University of Northern Colorado. She was born and raised in Colorado and always had a love for traveling and seeking new experiences. She harnessed this passion by becoming a traveling nurse in her early nursing career. She has worked at many prestigious healthcare facilities across Colorado and along the West Coast. After her family relocated from San Diego to Lincoln in 2014, she worked on the Women and Children’s Unit at Bryan Health and was an adjunct nursing faculty member at the Lincoln campus of Purdue University Global. She completed her Master’s of Science in Nursing through Purdue University Global and was board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2020.

Carrie lives in Lincoln with her husband and two boys and loves having adventures with her family. Her sons’ many interests in various activities and athletics keep her busy, and in her spare time she likes to practice yoga, golf, garden, read, or cook.

Family Nurse Practitioner

Cynthia Stock, born in Hayti, Missouri, and raised in Odessa, MO. She is a mother of 2 grown sons, Eldest son living in Sibley, MO and youngest son of Odessa, MO. Cynthia is a grandmother of 5 wonderful grandchildren, 2 granddaughters and 3 grandsons.

Cynthia has always been drawn to rural health care. As a Family Nurse Practitioner for 6 years, she has worked in central Colorado Springs, CO, Richmond and Buckner, MO. Prior to family practice she has worked in the nursing field in home health, nurses aid, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), received an Associate Degree RN. At that time hospitals were wanting Bachelor degree RNs. Therefore, she received further nursing education for my Bachelor’s degree in nursing. While in school for my Bachelor’s degree she continued nursing education and received her Master’s degree in Family nursing.

Cynthia’s education has taken her from Lex-La-Ray in Lexington, MO, to Park University in Parkville, MO, to destination of Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa with a satellite campus in Independence, MO. Although a person graduates from college the learning process is never over because the medical field is ever changing. Cynthia will be continuing her education while being employed at Freedom Healthcare. Cynthia is excited to join the family of Freedom Healthcare and continue with the Bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) which was one of her passions while in family practice. She is also a certified Department of Transportation (DOT) examiner. Cynthia is looking forward to specialty options Freedom Healthcare offers.

Cynthia has numerous hobbies/passions/loves which include but not limited to antiquing, Razor and motorcycle riding, kayaking, ax throwing, going to the shooting range, and working in the yard. Although she plays hard, she is willing to work hard, as well.
